I mentioned in my last post that I would be competing in the New England Flatpick Guitar Championship in Cornish, Maine. Many of you, I’m sure, have been wondering so I won’t keep you in suspense any longer.

I placed fourth out of the fifteen contestants! It was a really tough contest with many great guitar players.Playing in the contest. This is how it stacked up:

1st: Tyler Grant

2nd: Roy Curry

3rd: Steve Lewis

4th: Adam Hager

It was a nice way to finish out my vacation. Also, I would like to thank Matt Lindsey for backing me up in the contest. I would say there’s a pretty good chance I’ll be back next year. We’ll see…
